Bank of America named Currency Derivatives House of the Year

For the second time in three years, Bank of America has earned the Currency Derivatives House of the Year award from Risk. Risk provides news and analysis of the financial industry, with a particular focus on regulation, derivatives, risk management, asset management and commodities.

As the longest-running and most respected honors for the global derivatives markets, the Risk Awards recognize companies that excel in helping clients manage risk in complex markets. Derivatives are financial contracts whose value depends on underlying assets, such as currencies, and they play a critical role in global finance.

What set us apart

Risk highlighted our ability to anticipate market trends and deliver stability during volatile periods. In early 2025, our team’s foresight on dollar weakness helped clients navigate uncertainty, break trading records and restructure their portfolios to manage risk effectively.

Collaboration and innovation

Our Foreign Exchange (FX) Sales and Trading teams worked closely with our newly formed C-Suite Focused Sales team to provide real-time trade ideas directly to senior traders and chief investment officers at major clients.

Artificial intelligence (AI)-driven insights

Risk also recognized our investment in AI-powered tools that enhance client service and risk management. By integrating AI with our internal systems, we can analyze client behavior and risk exposure in real time — helping us deliver smarter, more targeted strategies.

Our recognition builds on our earlier wins

This latest recognition continues to add to our company’s achievements for leading the industry in innovation and technology, for delivering exceptional client experiences and for our efforts to be a Great Place to Work. Check out some of the awards and recognition we have received.
